The Carré Saint-Cyr is a former 16th-century church deconsecrated in 2000. Several years of reflection were needed before its new purpose was defined.

The Carré Saint-Cyr is a 300 m² gallery dedicated to promoting fine craftsmanship, through temporary exhibitions that are free and open to all.

The exceptional pieces on display require extensive training and exceptional skills that combine age-old traditions with innovation, where dexterity and talent come together. Purchasing these works helps to support creativity and contributes to the development of artistic craftsmanship.

It was as part of the project to promote craft trades, led by the Seine-Eure municipality under the brand name La Fabrique des métiers d’art, that plans were made to restore the building.

As the region’s first ecosystem dedicated to arts and crafts and the luxury sector, thanks to the presence of prestigious establishments, suppliers to leading fashion houses, and training schools, La Fabrique des Métiers d’Art reflects the excellence of the Seine-Eure region in this field. To celebrate creativity, the Municipality brings together exceptional stakeholders, events and venues under a single identity.
